I'm Ionatan, a photographer based in New York, NY. Fueled by a passion for traveling and spending time outdoors, I specialize in landscape and adventure photography.
I was born in Madrid, Spain, and moved to Seattle, WA when I was five years old. I spent summers growing up flying to see family abroad in Israel, where we often went on multi-day hiking trips throughout the country. This cultivated my love for the natural world at a young age, and I expanded upon this interest while living in the Pacific Northwest.
After finishing my undergraduate degree, I picked up an old DSLR that my parents owned and immediately fell in love with photography. I'm fascinated by the idea that a camera can be used to capture indescribable moments and inspire others to see the world through your creative lens. While I am currently a full time academic, photography and travel continue to be an enormous part of my life.
